The Minister of Labour, Family and Social Policy has signed a regulation which eases formalities for women employees who have had a loss of pregnancy. Until now, the regulations did not allow women to take shortened maternity leave, if they were unable to identify their child’s sex.

According to the current wording of art. 100d of the Ukraine special law, in the period until 30 September 2025, the course of deadlines for handling cases concerning temporary residence permits, permanent residence permits, and long-term EU residents does not start, and the one started is suspended for this period.
A draft amendment to the regulation on OHS training was published in the Government Legislation Center. Under the current applicable rules, an employee confirms the completion of general and job-specific training in writing on the initial training record, which is then kept in the employee’s personnel file.
